In an exciting development for EV Range, we are happy to announce the addition of new cutting-edge hardware to our expanding DC fast charger network!
Two state-of-the-art BTC Gen4 180kW electric vehicle chargers have recently been installed at Walker Country Store on US-395 in Walker California, a unique rural location that sits between Carson City and Mammoth Lakes. These new chargers are ready to charge up to four vehicles simultaneously, with each CCS port capable of up to 180kW (500 Amps) each.
These DC fast chargers offer a quick and efficient way to charge multiple electric vehicles simultaneously, greatly decreasing both charging and wait times. They can provide a significant charge in just minutes, helping to ease concerns about battery range and making electric vehicles a more appealing choice for drivers in the area.
This location is especially important to us. We added these charging units to an existing gas station, which will likely attract more customers as the range of shoppers grows.
