EV Range Installs Carson City, Nevada’s First High-Power DCFC Charger

We’re celebrating a win, here at EV Range!

Our latest fast charging site just went live in Nevada and we’re stoked. This site is packed with exciting milestones. It marks the first-ever installation of an EV Range High-Power DCFC charger outside of California, and it's also the first fast charger to go live in Carson City!

If you’re an electric vehicle owner in Carson City or just driving through, you now have access to 180kW fast chargers, located at the Carson Tahoe Quail shopping center on highway 395, right by the intersection of highways 580 and 50. Surrounded by retail and restaurants, you’ll be able to plug into one of our High-Power DCFC chargers and obtain a full charge in as little as 20 minutes.

Since we started EV Range, our team has been dedicated to establishing our presence in the California and Lake Tahoe area, as part of our broader plan to expand nationwide. Witnessing our first fast charger going live across state lines has been a significant milestone, marking some of the first steps towards our national goals.

“We couldn’t be happier with the Carson City site going live,” said Carl Pancutt, EV Range’s CEO and Founder. “As we continue to work closely with utilities, like NV Energy, and government agencies to build innovative network tools to sustainably support the growth of e-mobility, we’re excited to see the EV Range network grow into Nevada, particularly in Carson City, which had a high need for EV charging infrastructure..”

We’re looking forward to having many firsts in different states! As drivers start to adopt electric vehicles, businesses can start to prepare for that switch and invest in a solution that will not only support their customers but also benefit their businesses.
