Hi, I'm Doug Folkerts. I am a television editor in Los Angeles and I've always loved taking pictures. With the rise of photo-blogging websites, I've been inspired to join in and create my own place where I can share my pictures, if for no other reason than for my own enjoyment of them. Hopefully I'll take more photos and work harder to create pictures that I can be proud of.

I believe we are all experiencing and photography renaissance. With the ease of creating and sharing digital images, and the rise in popularity of digital SLRs, never have so many been able to explore their worlds with via photography. Film may be dying, but photography has never been so popular.
